Kevin Flanigan

Kevin joined the North Helpline team over five years ago when he started volunteering at our Lake City foodbank after retiring. Over the years, Kevin has assisted with grocery rescue, sorting, and distribution of food. He now serves on our board and hopes to work with others to collaborate on ways to realize our mission.

“My parents considered volunteering to be how to live your life,” says Kevin. He has volunteered with his church extensively, and for the past 10 years has been leading mission trips to Honduras, supporting Children’s Homes and learning how to better serve with each trip.

Before retiring, he spent 32 years with The Boeing Company working in finance and procurement. In his free time Kevin used to be a marathon runner, and still runs a few times a week. He also brews his own beer.
