Anya
STAFF
Community Engagement Coordinator
Pronouns: She/Her
Anya immigrated from Russia to Wisconsin when she was 11 years old. Growing up, finding stores that carried familiar foods always brought her joy and nostalgia. Through her grant writing work at North Helpline, she now gets to voice the importance of cultural relevant foods.
Anya has completed program management for local and national nonprofits, logistics and operations for electoral candidates, and sales and marketing for corporations. Her decade-long career in customer service earned her a multifaceted problem-solving thinking, communication and leadership skills, and adaptability.
She has two Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Policy & Planning and in Public Administration with focus in Nonprofit Management from Uni. of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She’s excited to earn her Certificate in Fundraising Management from Uni. of Washington.
When not working or tabling events in the community, Anya enjoys tending to her (40+) plants, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with friends, her fiancé, and her Blue Heeler dog and Siamese cat.
